ViralMonkey Ltd — registration notice: Issued on behalf of ViralMonkey Ltd, incorporating England and Wales (expected June 2026). All obligations assumed by ViralMonkey Ltd upon registration.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of your agreement with ViralMonkey Ltd and is incorporated into the Terms & Conditions by reference. It sets out the rules for using ViralMonkey and any platform integrations accessed through it. By using ViralMonkey you agree to this AUP.

ViralMonkey provides AI-generated draft content as a writing tool. Every piece of content published through your social media accounts is published by you, approved by you, and is your sole and exclusive legal responsibility. ViralMonkey does not pre-screen content for legal compliance, accuracy, originality, or platform rule compliance before you publish it. By approving any content for publication, you accept complete responsibility for it. ViralMonkey accepts no liability of any kind for content you choose to publish.

1. General Rules

Use ViralMonkey only for lawful purposes, in compliance with: all applicable laws in your jurisdiction; these Terms and this AUP; the terms of service and automation rules of all connected platforms.

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use ViralMonkey to generate, publish, or distribute content that:

  • Constitutes spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour
  • Harasses, threatens, intimidates, or abuses any individual or group
  • Is defamatory, libellous, or maliciously false
  • Is discriminatory or hateful on any basis protected by law
  • Contains sexually explicit material or is inappropriate for a general audience
  • Promotes or facilitates violence, self-harm, terrorism, or any illegal activity
  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right
  • Constitutes deliberate misinformation or disinformation
  • Contains malware, phishing content, or fraudulent links
  • Violates applicable advertising standards or financial promotion regulations
  • Impersonates any person, entity, or brand in a deceptive manner

3. Prohibited Platform Behaviour

You must not use ViralMonkey to violate any connected platform’s terms or automation rules, including:

  • Any form of automated engagement (liking, following, retweeting, sharing) without per-action approval — note: ViralMonkey’s Assist Mode requires this by design
  • Posting duplicate or near-identical content across multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Artificially inflating any engagement metric or follower count
  • Coordinating multiple accounts to amplify content in violation of platform rules
  • Posting at rates that trigger platform spam detection or violate rate limits
  • Posting growth hack comments that are irrelevant, promotional, or low-quality
  • Using ViralMonkey to circumvent or recover from a platform suspension or enforcement action
Built-in safeguards: Assist Mode requires per-action approval. Posting is capped by account age tier. Same-account engagement gaps are enforced at the database level. A Health Monitor auto-pauses activity when risk thresholds are reached. These protections exist for your benefit — they do not reduce your responsibility for what you approve and publish.

4. Platform-Specific Compliance

ViralMonkey currently integrates with X (Twitter). When additional platforms are added (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), this AUP will be updated before each integration goes live. Each platform has its own rules — you are responsible for knowing and following them on each platform you connect.

5. Account and System Integrity

  • Do not connect accounts you do not own or are not authorised to manage
  • Do not share ViralMonkey credentials or provide third-party access to your account
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce ViralMonkey’s systems
  • Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any ViralMonkey safety feature
  • Do not use ViralMonkey to build or test a competing product
  • Do not use ViralMonkey beyond the account limits of your subscription plan
  • Notify support@viralmonkey.ai immediately if your connected account receives a platform suspension or enforcement warning you believe may relate to ViralMonkey

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in: written warning; temporary suspension; permanent termination without refund; and/or referral to relevant authorities or platforms where legally required. We may act immediately without notice where continued access poses risk to other users, third parties, or ViralMonkey’s API access. Termination for AUP breach creates no right to refund or compensation.
